A few years ago I started to lose my hair, in just a few short months, I was struggling with my health and stress which was having a negative effect on my hair. It fell out rapidly.. also with that I lost my confidence, my femininity, my zest for life, more importantly-

I lost myself.

So I shopped every where spending hundreds on wigs that I thought were going to give me back the confidence but that didn’t happen because the wigs I received were shiny, too full, too dry, just the complete opposite to how I felt a wig should look.. which is natural. Otherwise, what is the point right?!

Months went on and I felt depressed as I really didn’t want to keep spending hundreds on a wig that I was never going to feel comfortable in.

​

I had a vision and that vision was to provide my clients with budget friendly wigs, without shine, without high density,  just beautiful natural looking fibres. I wanted to make each one unique so that each and every client had a piece that suited them.

I wanted to speak with my clients directly to help them choose the right piece for them, not just direct them to a website and leave them be. I wanted to support them throughout their Wig journey.

I wanted to create a safe place where we could feel comfortable to talk and exchange tips and ideas for styling and meet people who are in the same position or wanting to change their look but lack the confidence to do it.(find the link to our Facebook group at the bottom of this page)

I also wanted my clients to feel comfortable in the knowledge that if their chosen piece wasn’t right for them, we can adapt it for them or they can sell within a group that has access to thousands of other wig wearers.

I wanted to make purchasing a wig just like purchasing the best accessory that you could ever have, because, whilst it doesn’t define you, the right piece will absolutely make you shine…

I wanted to represent all those who have struggled with purchasing a Wig online or in person.

​

And then an amazing thing happened, I combined everything that I wanted to achieve for my clients and Wig Envy was born.
